Hydra

A fun cartoon look for a hydra that I made. Not realistic, and detailed.  I made the shading very smooth, and the colors very simple. So it's not to scary, but a kawaii look.

I gave it purple, and green for flat colors.

 I inked it making sure it is clean, and smooth..

It’s just some random guy drawing. Simple but effective.

Blob the lava lamp

This is Blob the lava lamp, a college student studying for midterms. For this illustration I wanted something fun, and simple. I also wanted the character to be an household object, that a college student would have. The lines have nice variations from thick to thin. The colors are also simple, because it is made up of mostly red. In the beginning I did lots of sketches. The first couple of sketches were boring because it looked too real. So I got rid of the smooth detail shading, and over exaggerated the shape. Now the character is squashed and stretched. I made one eyeball bigger than the other, and squshed it against the glass. Instead of giving him arms he uses his cord to move and interact with objects. So that was my thought process for this illustration. I hope everyone likes it.

Storm

This is an illustration of storm fighting some sentinels. I went crazy with all the purple colors. I also wanted a lot of atmosphere. So you can see the clouds, and lighting.
